The first train from St. Louis arrives and so do five young ladies who have escaped the flu epidemic in the big city. They’ve heard the town of Breckridge seeks help. A tour guide lady arrives to inspect the new ranch bunkhouse. A young sheriff makes a law that no weapons will be worn while in town. Stew is elected the first Mayor of Breckridge, Kansas.
