All Who Wander Aren’t Lost is a day-to-day account of Skip Harrison’s forty-seven day, 10,000 mile odyssey on a motorcycle across twenty-two states of the western half of America.

Abstract:
This day-by-day journal will take the armchair traveler or the free-spirited adventurer on an exciting, educational, romantic, and sometimes dangerous tour of western America. After nine months of arduous fourteen-hour days, seven days a week, to restore his family’s home in Mandeville, LA, after it was ravaged by the fury of Hurricane Katrina, Skip Harrison packed up and rode off on his motorcycle to clear is mind and free his soul. His mostly solo odyssey lasted for nearly seven weeks, covered over ten thousand miles, and touched twenty-two states. Meet the real people and visit the real places that make exploring America worthwhile.

Fun book to read. You travel with the author on a motorcycle trip of discovery, adventure, and love (for his wife and country). After I finished the book, I started thinking about buying a motorcycle and making a similar trip--There are a lot of great places to explore and the author describes how to do it.
