Abstract:
A young woman on her high school graduation trip to the French Quarters is kidnapped. The infamous Bar 711, taken over by Blackwater Mercenaries during Katrina, is the scene.

The victim’s father, a law professor at the University of Houston flies to New Orleans when his daughter goes missing. Famous Delta detective, Jake Stern, is engaged to find the high school graduate, Tasha who had been accepted to Yale as a Freshman. Jake learns that Tasha has been swept away by Lt. Richard Dormand and his men through Nuevo Laredo, Cartelito wars and ultimately into the southern mountains of Mexico.
