The victim’s father, a law professor at the University of Houston flies to New Orleans when his daughter goes missing. Famous Delta detective, Jake Stern, is engaged to find the high school graduate, Tasha who had been accepted to Yale as a Freshman. Jake learns that Tasha has been swept away by Lt. Richard Dormand and his men through Nuevo Laredo, Cartelito wars and ultimately into the southern mountains of Mexico.
