Abstract:
Socrates may well be the father of modern day classroom discussion. This book will provide the classroom instructor with the method Socrates used in carrying on discussions to gain insight into truth, develop concepts, mediate discussion, and clarify definitions. Socratic dialogue can be integrated into modern educational paradigms, develop critical thinking, and bring about transfer of learning.
