Abstract:
Amateur astronomer George Abooli encounters friendly aliens and goes on an interstellar voyage to their home planet. He finds out they’ve been studying Earth and want to make contact with the humans. But a new Middle East dictator launches terrorist attacks against America, already besieged by natural disasters and a collapsed economy. War breaks out in 2012 with the threat of a nuclear holocaust. Concerned about humanity’s future, George persuades the aliens to become allies in the War on Terror, but the outcome is not assured, as the dictator has a plan of his own.
