Abstract:
THE SWIVEL GUNMAN during Brad Stillwell’s 19 years living with his mother in a log cabin among forest trees, he encountered no man except trappers who visited them. Returning from his first trip to a town with trapper Pierre and supplies, he finds his mother has been critically shot by the Barlow Brothers. Before death his mother asks Pierre to watch over her boy. She tells Brad all men are not ruffians. He swears he will seek and kill the Barlow gang with his new-dangled swivel-type method of firing pistols. Other hard-cases getting in his way will only be crippled.
