Abstract:
Civil War has just begun between North and South. Fort Sumter has fallen and men are answering the call to arms. The United States is being torn apart and the capital is vulnerable to attack. In Baltimore, fanatics plot to take Washington by force, led by a wealthy shipping magnate. As the conspirators assemble and mass arms for the imminent attack, one man is assigned to uncover their plot. But before he can save the Union, he must first conquer his inner demons and save himself. Can he thwart the legionnaires before they destroy Washington?
