While reading the short clip from the book, it felt as if I was sucked in to it and that I was watching this young girl in her emotional struggle. It is a very exciting story. I look forward to finishing the story when I buy my copy.

From the minute you start to read you find yourself pulled into another world. Nichole Nesbitt takes the things that we love about fiction and makes it her own. She pulls together a story that teaches the reader about courage and faith. I instantly fell in love with Nerissa. She is a great character and her development through the story is inspiring. I would recommend this book to any age group.

This is a great story! Nichole Nesbitt is an amazing young author that writes a story that you cannot put down. The story although illustrated as a fantasy, draws the reader on a journey with Nerissa and those in the Land of Esrail, so that you walk, listen, and see the majesty of the world that IAM (GOD) created. You experience the pain and suffering; the joy and bliss; that Nerissa experiences as she and you walk "The Journey of Faith" WOW!

This book is amazing! It has cool characters, wonderful imagery, and a great underlying theme. This book is an easy read, and the lessons that are taught are easy to understand. It is relevant to people of all ages and will grip your attention from the first page all the way to the last. You won't be able to put it down. Nichole Nesbitt has a talent for making her characters real. There is a little bit of all us in each indivual character. I love Nerissa. She is a great model for everyone who reads this book. You will laugh with her, cry with her, and share with her in her joys and struggles as she goes through her journey of faith.

For a first time author, I thought Nichole did a great job. The book contained a lot of life lessons that we all can benefit from. Just like Nerissa, we all experience highs and lows in our lives, but the lows are made easier when we trust in IAM (God) to guide us. I found myself getting pulled into the story as Nerissa tries to fit in the the Land of Esrail and still follow God's leading. This book is a great story and I would recommend it to anyone.

WOW!!! I love the book. I have read many books of fantasy and this would have to be one that i would rank as a #1 best seller at least on my list. I loved the fact that she combined Our Living God (IAM--in the story) into the book. I laughed when it was funny and cried when it was sad. I was touched by the story of the Characters and their belief in IAM (God). The characters came alive as you read the story and you felt their happiness, sadness, pain and even lose as they lost people they loved. Some of the characters had that child like faith that all people should have and don't. I fell in love with the characters and can't wait to read about their next adventures in the next book Nichole writes. I also like to feel like enter into the story when i read and share their adventures and i can say i fell head first into the book. I couldn't put it down. It kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what would happen next. Now a review of the Author. I feel Nichole's writing ranks up their with your #1 writers on today's market. I'm referring to some of the best such as: Nora Roberts, James Patterson, Stephen King, Catherine Coulter , Terry Blackstock (christian writer ) and Frank E. Peretti (Christian Writer). There are many more out there but these are some of the ones I have read that are #1 among their peers and fans but i have to say they might want to make room for Nichole Nesbitt. I read a lot and love books that flow and keep the same characters over so you don't feel like you are loosing new friends that you have made through the story. I would also recommend this book to all my friends and family. Nichole thank you for writing this story. I like to reread some books after a while has gone by and i can say this is one of them that will be on my re-read list.

  Faithfully Lovely , 07/22/2009

I loved this book it was a breath of fresh air. I was searching for something that was different; I was searching for a book that was not the typical storybook whine and complaine about another sad sap story and their almost impossible redemption by "man's" standards. This book offered readers like myself that are most often the most forgotten demagraphic by authors something to look forward to something to want to search for and read. We are older, we like adventure, and we like struggles that relate to our own. I loved this book and was really surprised that it offered exactly if not more than what you were told to expect by the book flap. I enjoyed every minute of it reading it with a vigor and a passion I have not had for a long time staying up well past two o'clock just to finish within one day. Thank You Nichole for finally offereing something so faithfully lovely.

  Decent Work , 01/20/2012
Reviewer: Justina
It was okay for Christian fiction. A friend told me about it, and I liked the book, but it wasn't the best I've read. There are some mistakes in it here and there, and the story sort of feels like a fanfiction at times, but there are morals taught, even if the girl is somehow always bossy the guys around. Sometimes it is easy to see what is coming.
