Abstract:
Emily Vanderhorn, seventy-seven years old and a victim of a nearly fatal stroke two years ago, is still recovering at her beachfront home in Palm Beach, Florida. Her granddaughter, Mikki, has moved into the Pink Flamingo mansion and has taken an engineering job close to their home. When the two women receive an urgent but anonymous message, they discover that a subversive group is plotting a devastating explosion at Miami International Airport. Feeling obligated to intervene, the women embark on a dangerous mission that is further complicated when the usually practical Mikki becomes obsessed with an attractive man. It may be love at first sight, but is the mysterious guy also a terrorist?
