Abstract:
The Fusillo Nature Classification System Virus Species Checklist is the first major revision to Virus Classification in 250 years. The system is bilingual in both English and Latin. The Kingdoms, Subkingdoms, Classes, Phylums, Orders, Families, and Genera are new. An original innovation traces the names of viruses back to their host source in both Latin and English. Kingdoms include Kingdom Microbe Virus (including Bacteria, Plankton , and Protozoan viruses), Kingdom Plant Virus (including Algae, Fungus, Moss, Fern, Seed Fern, and Flowering Plant viruses), and Kingdom Animal Virus (including Parazoan, Worm, Shellfish, Chelicer and Insect Arthropod, Fish, Bird and Mammal viruses).
