Abstract:
Sixty $Sixty n Sexy? is one woman’s story of her lifelong battle with obesity. It took her sixty years and $60,000 but she won the war, not just the battle. Through her experiences with diets, diet pills, gastric by-pass surgery, and plastic surgery she shares her own personal thoughts and feelings about being fat. From the discrimination she felt as a fat person to the discrimination she saw as a thin person, her journey gives hope and inspiration. Just knowing that someone understands what it’s like to be fat may be the motivation needed to make changes in one’s own life.

A hoot to read! Offers informative info re gastric bypass surgery, of which I knew next to nothing. The little engine that could! Inspiration of anyone whose ever been FAT. A great book to curl up to on the couch on a rainy, cold day and read, after exercising by tossing the afghan over one's legs and adding whipped cream to one's hot chocolate...
