Abstract:
When Ippolito Yrigogeni tries to build a freeway in Northwest Colombia, his construction crew is massacred. Upon investigation, and to his surprise, he discovers that the cause was a direct result of a tremendous event that occurred 14,000 years ago. A single event that gave rise to the origins of the Native American, the true legend of El Dorado, the mystery surrounding the final days of Simón Bolivar, the Great Liberator of Colonial northern South America, and to Colombia’s modern-day situation. Indeed, one of the best stories still untold, until now.
