Abstract:
Following the murder of her abusive spouse, Marvella Watson is slowly trying to piece her world back together. If only things would stay on an even keel for awhile, maybe she could start enjoying her new life. But the fates are fickle, they have other plans. Someone has developed a nasty grudge against her boss; hiding in the shadows taking potshots with a very big gun. As if that weren’t stressful enough, there’s a new man in town who’s set his sights on Marvella. His romantic attentions throw her off stride. With a killer on the loose, she doesn’t need that kind of distraction.
