  A Priest's Legacy , 08/12/2010
Reviewer: j neill
I would recommend this book especially for those wishing a vivid glimpse of life of a dynamic Catholic priest fighting to promote a wholesome living and practice of the faith in young people in the thirties and forties at home and in war. Also, a major part of the book could be considered as wartime diary of the Burma India theater, of interest to anyone wanting to learn more about the day-to-day life experienced by our military there. Readers desiring to fill out their knowledge of Philadelphia Catholic history in the 20th century will also find the book appealing.
