Abstract:
The fast pace of Boston Social life was not what recently married Rosalind and William wanted. WW II was coming to a close when they disappeared. Changing their names, they landed on a large farm, at the edge of a small Ohio Amish Community. From the beginning, she was at odds with the Elder, standing her ground with him.

In time, she was adored by all members of the Amish and locale community except the Elder; he had crossed the wrong woman. A shotgun gave her a nickname she reveled in. Five non related short stories included.
