Fortune Favors the Brave is the story of a young Gaul, Jute, who saves Julius Caesar's life and as a result earns his everlasting gratitude. Joining the Roman army and showing great prowess and bravery on the battlefield, he is later gravely wounded. Caesar, finding him near death, summons the Greek physician Demetrius to try to save him. Bringing him back to life, Demetrius leaves him in the care of his granddaughter, the beautiful and voluptuous Elene. Jute falls in love and has a child with her, only to see her vanish in the massive Gallic revolt. He spends the rest of the war trying to find her.
