Abstract:
The Griebenows were married in Tibet and lived there twenty-nine years. M.G. was asked to become a “blood brother.” Seriously ill, he was miraculously healed in answer to the prayers of his wife Blanche and the Chinese Christians in Labrang. Theirs was a clear vision and deep, heartfelt commitment and compassion for reaching Tibetans with the gospel of Christ

The week before Communists invaded China in 1949, the Griebenows prematurely departed, boarding the last plane from Lanchow to cross China. After furlough they were deployed first to Jerusalem, later to Hong Kong, then Taiwan, completing thirty-eight years of missionary service.
