Reviewer: Shelley Glodowski
Love and Death on the High Seas: For those of you who've been following the romantic trials and tribulations of Samantha and Ian, you're in for a treat. The dynamic law-enforcing duo decide to tie the knot on a Caribbean cruise, surrounded by their closest friends and relatives. However, their bliss is short-lived when the ship captain's wife is found dead in her stateroom. Was it an accidental poisoning or was it murder? Glodowski takes the reader on a wild ride aboard the Caribbean Queen as Ian, former FBI agent turned Rockstar/Investigator, and his smart and beautiful bride, former cop Samantha Peters, race to find the killer. High entertainment!! An unlikely vehicle for crime solving, one might think, but the combination of art, love, play, and action works surprisingly harmoniously in Glodowski's third mystery vignette. Interpol looms, and danger heightens the focus on speedy mystery solution as well as love. Sam has to stretch her wits to escape a mysterious killer/kidnapper and solve the double crime. Midwest Book Review, Oregon, WI Short chapters and fast paced action make this book an entertaining read that keeps the reader's interest throughout. ...So if you're planning a summer reading list, you needn't look too far to find an interesting read. Read local, and help us retain our unique flavors in the process. Patrick Molzahn, Oregon Observer
