Fritter's Spring may be a children's book, but it is very entertaining to adults too. I read this book in 2 1/2 hours because I didn't want to put it down. Lisa Bauman-Wispe does a marvelous job in bringing the story of a lost rabbit to life with dazzling word pictures and suspense to keep a hold on you! Also, Michael Bauman's illustrations are very alive! I recommend this for anyone who enjoys a good read.

This beautifully illustrated and well-written book is not just entertaining and fun, but prompts the reader to think about deeper subjects, unlike most books for children. I suggest that it be added to the mandatory reading curriculum of all schools, everywhere so that all children everywhere will grow up with a better understand of the fact that fun and intelligence can (and should) go hand in hand from this extraordinary and unique book!
