Abstract:
Tales of a Great Lakes Sailor is a compilation of anecdotes about some of the people, places and adventures of a Great Lakes sailor gleaned over a forty-year period. The author presents the evolution of sailing challenges punctuated with brief descriptions of cruises and the fickleness of Great Lakes weather. As sailing challenges continued to evolve lessons, such giving little credence to advice of others, were imbedded in the author’s mind.

Limited insertions of appropriate definitions and explanatory comments make for casual reading by sailors and non-sailors alike.
