Abstract:
While traveling to a Caribbean Island on a photography assignment, Maxwell Goodman has a romantic encounter while strolling along the beach during pre-dawn hours. This romantic interlude fosters a relationship with a summer school teacher, but their romance is interrupted as he journeys to a remote mountain community for the Festival of St. Alban. He discovers that he is the target of an occultist group that wants him dead as they seek to gain control of the entire island. Maxwell is thrust into the middle of an insidious plot involving chicanery, romance, mystery and murder.
