Who killed the beautiful Swedish exchange student? And how did she end up in the cellar of a cottage which had been closed and locked up for eight long and bitterly cold months?

Abstract:
Summer residents return to Crooked Lake after a long, cold winter and are horrified to find the body of a beautiful young woman in the cellar of their cottage. The sheriff identifies her as an exchange student from Sweden who went missing back in January. But how did her body come to be in a cottage which had been closed and locked up since the previous September? The sheriff and her partner soon find themselves in search of the person who had both a reason to kill the young woman and a key which provided access to the cottage.

It is with great pleasure that I am happy to report that I thoroughly enjoyed "The Cottage With Too Many Keys", by Robert W. Gregg, a thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying book to curl up with. The structure and pacing of this subtly witty and well written mystery kept my interest throughout and I found Mr. Gregg's insights into and descriptions of teenagers right on the mark. The more one reads about the inhabitants of Crooked Lake, the more one wants to know and I look forward to the next volume in this series. For genuine entertainment, I wholeheartedly recommend this book.
