Abstract:
Evelyn Chubb’s collection of poetry contains her reflections on home, faith, and the truths of getting older. The pages of the collection are illustrated with her original pen-and-ink drawings, pastels, oils, and watercolor paintings which have won many awards at local competitions in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Her request to her only child, Suzanne Christie, was “Please get my poems published so I will be remembered.” Evelyn’s creativity and love of color are reflected in her words and paintings for all to enjoy.
