Abstract:
With the passing of each day and the exposure of new ideas, my attention was redirected from the pain and anger of the past. It seemed with every turn in my life, circumstance was laying a needed distraction at my feet. These distractions ultimately proved to be steps of an intervention that would not only assist in my recovery, but would take me far beyond my level of understanding prior to the tragic event. At the time, the interventions seemed extremely coincidental, and in retrospect, a deep sense of gratitude seems more appropriate for the miracles strewn on my pathway.
