The idea of Connected Dreams: How Ideas Move and Connect in Unexpected Ways can only be skillfully layered and beautifully crafted otherwise it wouldn’t conform to its own thesis.

Abstract:
How do ideas move and connect? Will tomorrow’s producers be no less empowered by technology than consumers? As the world grows global and more connected, and organizations become flatter and less hierarchical, the answer lies not just in getting airtime on mainstream media but also listening in on social networks, to find out what is being discussed, the core values that influence ideas and decisions, the issues that foster innovation and empowerment, and circumstances that motivate people to break new grounds for new ideas. Ideas rise in flow. People are connected, and their ideas and causes are connected too. These issues will become key determinants of success and failure, and they are the centerpiece of this critically acclaimed book.

This is an operatic book. I was completely blown away by the honesty of this book. The stories are not only exotic. The scenes are exhilarating. I loved this book! The account on ideas, serendipity, innovation, chance encounters, collaboration and accountability—the author—and the context, is beautifully crafted with astonishing authority. An inspiring read by an inspiring author.
