Abstract:
LETTERS HOME is the story of four brothers from East Texas who served in the Armed Forces during the Second World War. One of the brothers was wounded and a second was killed in action. Willie served in England, France, Germany and Austria. Kirb served in India, Burma and China and was awarded the Bronze Star. Donald served in Ireland, England, France and Germany and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Silver Star. Raymond, the youngest of the four, served in England and France and was killed in action. He was awarded the Purple Heart and the Silver Star.
