Abstract:
Born into the world of politics, Lindsey Delaware can do no wrong. Acting with justice and fairness, she rockets through the ranks of Congress like a shining star. Her personal life, however, is a mess. Brian, the only man she loves, slips in and out of her life while she inadvertently sends her friend Julie into the haze of drug addiction. Julie’s horrendous encounters with drugs convince Lindsey that dramatic changes must be made. Using her political power, she initiates a law that will forever change the world of addiction . . . and may well cost Lindsey her life.
