I found this book an easy read, but I also found it hard to lay down as Ross describes so clearly the incidents he and his mother's caregiver encountered as "his million dollar mom" worked her way through the progressions of Alzheimer's. This book is a heartwarming and uplifting message for millions of others who are faced with the daily and hourly needs of caregiving for their loved ones."

This book makes you think about our accomplishments in life, our families and the memories that we will leave behind. It is poignant, funny, down-to-earth and leaves an indelible mark on your heart. The picture of Shirley waving "good-bye" is unforgettable. A must read for anyone who is a caregiver or for anyone who wants to just have their heart warmed by the love shared between a son and his mother.
