Abstract:
After a failed first (and probably last) marriage, Dale Belnap’s life as a traveling salesman has pretty much settled into a routine. The two best things in Dale’s life are his sister/best friend, Joan, who hasn’t had much luck in the marriage department herself, and their grandfather who they are closer to than their real father. On a routine road trip to Nevada, Dale’s Vehicle is suddenly disabled. He wonders if this will be the last of his existence when a blue sphere of light appears in the darkness. His experience with a mysterious alien will change his life forever.
