Abstract:
CDC scientist Dr. Susan Prescott is on a mission to find the Holy Grail of cancer cures, and thinks she’s found it in the work of Vladimir Sokolov, a Russian geneticist whose lab was closed during the fall of the Soviet Union. She discovers that Sokolov’s re-engineered microbe kills many cancers. Little does she know that the cure holds a deadly secret. By the time Susan discovers it, she’s become an accomplice in numerous U.S. Senators becoming infected with the microbe. She has 72 Hours to find the antidote before their brains and lungs turn to paste.
