Loved it! A well written balanced mix of excitement, heat, and adrenaline. Storyline takes the reader through twists and turns smoothly. This author even offers his reader behind the scene peeks into the work of a Fugitive Recovery Agent; from the most boring of tasks, to the thrill of the hunt and ever present dangers of this line of work. Each character stood on his own and played a unique role in every capture....they worked as a team. I can't wait to see what happens next!

  SUSPENSE/A MUST READ , 11/02/2011

First I want to say that I am not a reader so I was surprised when I decided to purchase this book; I actually did it as a favor to a friend of mine and I figured I paid for the book, I might as well give it a shot and read it. Once I started reading this book, I didn't want to put it down as it captures your attention almost immediately. I liked how the author had several story lines going at the same time and how they all came together at the end. I actually became addicted to this book as I wanted to keep reading to see what was going to happen next and was disappointed when I was finished with it. I am looking forward to more books from James Ardle. Treat yourself and buy the book, you will not be disappointed.

If you like fast-paced adventure, intrigue, down-to-earth characters, steamy hot scenarios and some good old fashioned blood and guts' storytelling, "A TangledWeb" will definitely meet your needs. From taking care of business, to love lost and love found, fatherly care and protection, the ultimate revenge and an ending that begs for more, "A Tangled Web" will have its readers impatiently waiting for the next installment. One can only speculate that this narrative comes from the very active mind of the author combined with his many personal experiences as a fugitive recovery agent, the combination of which yields a truly realistic work of fiction. Mr. Ardle has tangled me in his web.

  First Work Fabulous , 11/08/2011

Let me start off my saying that i consider myself an above avid book reader- completing on average 6 books a month from all genres. I also co-created and run a Book Club - "Dog-Earring Anonymous". I was initially drawn to pick up this book because of a long lasting friendship with the Author James Ardle. Quickly my mind was flooded with the worry of NOT enjoying the book and how would I offer feedback if that were the case...Gladly that is NOT the case. James did a terrific job of developing the characters, and making them easy to relate to. I feel his writing style is inviting and leaves you wanting to be able to read the words faster so that you can see what twist and turn awaits you in the coming pages. I was curious and captured immediately, finishing the book in to sittings! I look forward to more works by James and I'm proud to say A Tangled Web is the feature book for my book club this month, November 2011.
