Abstract:
As a scientist, it is difficult at first reading not to throw the astrology baby out with the bath water. But perseverance and many astrology books later, validity can be found. Of course, our personalities being the result of the gods, stars or some mysterious emanations from the planets is pure nonsense. What is valid are the behavioral trait observations over the millennia classifying people into twelve relatively distinct personalities. These first observers’ error was concluding that the gods, stars and planets were the cause of the traits. The real cause – the Sun and biochemistry – was outside their realm of knowledge.
