Abstract:
Based on the true story of a reform school in rural Arkansas, Wilderness Children follows a handful of boys who follow their sociopathic leader into the woods.
In 1939, after escaping a devastating fire in which many of their friends died, a group of boys calling themselves The cobras run for their lives in the Arkansas wilderness. Chased by tracking dogs and men with guns, the boys are terrified. Almost miraculously, they avoid capture. But Mr. Cold, the leader, has other things in mind. When the boys rob a local store, the situation spins out of control and they commit horrible crimes.
