Abstract:
Children of the Stars is both a novel and a musical, the product of a collaboration between a Catholic priest, Vitas Doubras, a talented composer and musician and Alex, a divorced accountant turned writer. The book and musical revolve around the cosmo-logical concept that every person on earth is the result of stellar explosions so everyone is the same regardless of ethnic, racial or religious differences, they are all children of the stars. With the help of the beautiful and talented Annamarie, the men overcome a series of obstacles to finally see their creation appear on a Broadway stage.
