Abstract:
NOT MY SON is a work of fiction that tells the story of four Navy SEALS who were on the front lines of Afghanistan and Iraq during the months and years following 9/11. It’s the story of a Special Ops mission gone wrong, the SEALS who can’t forget their failure and a homicide that tears a city and country apart. The novel is based on many historical events and describes the misuse of political power, the hypocrisy of elected officials who are entrusted to defend our constitution, and one of the saddest chapters in American political and social history.
