Abstract:
When bad guy Hershel Feldman, handsome and dissolute, arrogant and cruel, totally self-absorbed, gets himself way over his head in trouble, he calls on one of his own victims to bail him out. Hershel’s erstwhile rescuer, along with Hershel himself, both discover that they have much to learn about God, life, and themselves. Their story, set in New York City, takes the reader from Hershel’s marriage to Rose, through their heart-wrenching trials, and on to the terrible deal Hershel makes in the hope of redeeming himself. Add in Reverend Ellis Keaton’s self-revelation and you have the rest of the story.
