Abstract:
The funniest and perhaps final view of life aboard the 1975 Greenpeace Anti-whaling Expedition with the legendary eco pioneers who put the environmental movement on the front page to stay. A fresh view of the heart of eco history through events hilarious and maddening, this insider’s account puts you on the crew, to relive what it was really like to jump off into the unknown with total strangers, on a boat that seemed headed for the junk heap; to “talk” to whales, and to actually stand as a human shield before Soviet harpoons, for the first time, with nothing but cam-eras…and your life.

  The Real Story , 01/06/2014
Reviewer: Bobbi Hunter
I am the widow of Bob Hunter, the cofounder and first president of Greenpeace; and I was the first official CFO of the group. I gave copies of this book to our children and told them this is the real story. I am so thrilled...[Will Jackson] got it right. I am so beholden -- I will reread and reread and reread his and "Bob's" words till my dying days.
