Wilson Thomas Wilson had two problems at birth. The first was his moniker; not too many people have the same first and last name. The other was that he came into this world with small stumps for arms and legs. His small body was the genesis of the nickname, Torpedo, he so hated. Now, the esteemed and super-successful Wilson will be called on to save his adopted hometown city of Pittsburgh from a monumental terrorist attack while battling significant internal demons. For once, even he questions if he can rise to the occasion, as he always had in the past.

TORPEDO grabbed my attention and kept it focused on what was happening throughout the book. I couldn't wait to see how it ended, but hated to see it end. The author is adept at bringing you into the story, almost making you part of it, much like the 'fly on the wall'. The main character 'W' is strong, likeable and also the most unique I have ever experienced. I can't wait for a new book by Mr. Verola.
