Abstract:
The irrefutable thermodynamic evidence herein advanced not only negate the essential message of the law of increasing entropy in the form of the heat death of the universe, a position subsuming the impotence, the irrelevance of the journey of man on this Earth as well as his inevitable subjugation to forces beyond his control; It also unveils the fact that the fate of our world is actually determined by the competition of two opposite effects: Chaos vs. Order, or Entropy vs. Negentropy, embodied these in the terrestrial, human-centered notions of Gained Work vs. Lost Work.
