Abstract:
Eleven year-old Buddy Sterner uses his vivid imagination to enhance his many real and make-believe adventures. He lives in the suburbs with his mother Elizabeth, a nurse at Cherryville Regional Hospital, and his father, a seventh-grade teacher at the Washington Middle School. His three best friends, Mike, Gene and Chris, exclusive members of the Four Musketeer’s Club, are busy, so Buddy spends a cold February afternoon alone exploring the expanses of the nearby Christmas tree farm. Come along with Buddy as his hike initiates a series of adventures that he could not have imagined.
