I enjoy the "boy in stripped Pajamas, and books like the Book Thief, so I was sure I would enjoy this. I was right, a well written fun story about the Edelweiss Pirates, the characters were great, Grandpa Gunthrie was very funny, one scene is were the Nazi's are at the train station is very powerful and a little disturbing but it's what happened.
