Abstract:
Unemployment, deteriorating communities, hopelessness, poverty, and fractured families—these and many other causes of gang activity, youth violence and other community problems are explored in FROM JERICHO TO JERUSALEM: YOUTH: STREET ORGANIZATIONS & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. This enlightening expose′ gives a riveting and eye-opening account of the dynamics that give rise to street gangs as well as the forces that fuel their proliferation.
