Abstract:
This book, written by Lisa's mother, gives a detailed record of her daughter's traumatic brain injury and the rehabilitation that followed. It describes the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual challenges this family encountered as they sometimes could only stand by and watch the events unfold. It gives some insight on how they handled such emotions to get through such a life changing event that occurred not only in the life of this family but also their community. It is hoped to give guidance for families in similar situations and for those who want to give support.
