I loved reading this book, it was like being on a great adventure. The many routines, costumes and above all, the dream of becoming a professional dancer. Ms. Murphy's book will appeal to all readers, young dancers and those who have seen Liberace, Sammy Davis, Jr., and many more stars she came in contact with during her career as a Rockette. Keep kicking Ms. Murphy!!

Couldn't believe that Ann could remember all these events, but then when I saw she used a journal and wrote down, shows, dates, etc. It was like reading the chronological events of a devoted "Rocket". This lady you can read she was devoted and was very complimentary to the people who not only helped her but supported her in endeavors. I was fortunate I met Ann in Palm Springs while she was performing at the the famous "FOLLIES" I will read this book again she has had a wonderful life and worked hard to get where she did in her career. It is a must read book that if you like autobiographies - this is number ONE.

I loved this book. Reading the author's recounts of her days at Radio City Music Hall and looking at the pictures, made me feel like I was there. It was a great look in to the not often told life of a Rockette. This a great spirited book and I can tell the author really loved her days as a Rockette.
