Abstract:
The lawyer for James Howe Dad requests that James and his wife June be at his office. James is told his Dad had bought a hundred acres of Pine trees from Michigan. He is also told that a million dollars has been put in a bank for James; also one hundred thousand has been added to James’ check book. James can now retire at a young age and begin writing novels. James and his wife move into a picturesque house in the Pine Woods. The house was built by James’ Dad and is called Howe Retreat. It has four large bedrooms.
