Abstract:
CID Special Agent Eddie Behr is called upon to aid in a rape and murder investigation that leads him into the Bush; an area of Okinawa carved out by the Black military personnel for their exclusive use. White personnel are discouraged from entering the area through fear of assault and robbery. Behr, himself, has bad memories and physical scars from a previous excursion into the area that went horribly wrong. But, despite the danger, the trail leads him back into the area and he is determined to follow that trail.
