Abstract:
“It’s 1956, and President Eisenhower is sending advisors to South Vietnam to help defeat Ho Chi Minh’s Northern Army. Air Force Lieutenant Myles Garrison, an analyst with the 21st Radio Group near Tokyo, analyses North Vietnam radio intercepts for intel on the Vietcong. The NSA recruits Myles for Operation Beehive, a plan to place intercept vans deep in Vietcong territory. Before deploying to Saigon, he falls in love with a young Tokyo fashion model. Meanwhile, a fellow officer turns traitor and passes Beehive secrets to a North Vietnam agent which puts the operation in peril. The story takes many twists and turns as Myles’ and Yoshiko’s love affair flourishes and his NSA assignment becomes deadly.”
