Abstract:
Two years ago, I had a dream that my wife and I were playing a board game in the confines of our living room, when suddenly she disappeared. Out of desperation, I ran throughout the house intensely searching through every room and closet, and even the basement and discovered that she was nowhere to be found. As soon as I ran outside, I woke from this awful nightmare in a cold sweat and panting heavily. I was relieved to see my wife safely snuggled up next to me, but still couldn’t get the images out of my mind. But exhaustion over took me, and I found myself drifting back to sleep.
I had another dream. Although it was much shorter then the first dream, it had the same impact. I was riding down the street in the front seat of a car full of people. For some reason, the driver lost control of the car and ran straight into a brick wall. The second half of the dream showed me laying there without a bruise or scratch on me, but everybody else in the car was dead. Yet again, I woke in a cold sweat and panting heavily.
