Abstract:
Charles “Cookie” Sheridan was a draftee. He had one year of college, dropped below the full-time status, and was immediately sent to basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Then he was shipped to a medical unit at Fort Gordon, Georgia.
Cookie’s medical unit had ready access to drugs, and he and his roommates made off with large amounts that they either sold or used themselves. Their rented apartment became the drug capital of Georgia.
Cookie’s roommate Eric Chambers had picked up a hitchhiker and brought the young girl to the apartment.
