Abstract:
Over the author’s 28 years of experience as a public school teacher and administrator in a suburban school district, unusual and distracting events occurred on an almost daily basis. This book memorializes some of the more interesting of those events as the author completed his six years of middle school science teaching, four years as an elementary school principal, 14 years as a middle school principal, and four years as a central office administrator. Anecdotes relating to parents, students, teachers, and administrators are recounted as well as several reminders of the many positive aspects of public education.
